?
. . :
This issue applies to the CATALYST 3.4 display drivers under all Operating Systems.
The text files Pollog.txt and/or PollSt.txt may be created in the root directory when installing the ATI display driver.
These files are used to log events that occur when the display driver loads.
Pollst.txt will accumulate six new entries, (similar to the following list) each time the system is restarted.
-21:17:15:979-0x000004cc...Calling StartServiceCtrlDispatcher()
-21:17:15:989-0x0000050c...Entering CNTService::ServiceMain()
-21:17:15:989-0x0000050c...Entering CNTService::Initialize()
-21:17:15:989-0x0000050c...CNTService::SetStatus(13323 92, 2)
-21:17:16:009-0x0000050c...CNTService::SetStatus(13323 92, 4)
-21:17:16:009-0x0000050c...Leaving CNTService::Initialize()
SOLUTION:
This issue will be resolved in a future release of the CATALYST driver software.
These files have no impact on the system and may be deleted if required.
