Good morning,
I have a web-camera "Trust WB-3400T", but I have a problem with its driver.
My web-cam doesn't work normaly.
When I turn-on my web-cam on Windows2000+SP4 or WindowsXP+SP2 => The speed is too slow and the Windows has block.
When I turn-on my web-cam on Windows2000 without SP or WindowsXP without SP => the web-cam works good.
Therefor, the problem is in the driver => The driver on my CD-ROM is not compatible with Windows+SP.
Do you have any new working driver for this web-camera?
Thank you before hand.
By the way, the drivers on your list are damaged. I don't download any of them.Last edited by PET3; 4th June 2008 at 21:07.

:
Installation WEBCAM
STEP1
During the standard driver installation is possible that before connecting the USB Webcam Windows block the installation and it seems never happened.
In order to solve this situation open Task manager con Ctrl +Alt +Delete and end application.
STEP 2
Now you can connect USB webcam to the USB port of your PC.
After follow the installation and click on NO, not this time how you can see on the next screen!

STEP 3
In the following screen please click on Install from a list or specific Location

In the next screen you need to type
C:\Program Files\Common Files\PAC207
Or
oppure
PCCamera (in C:\Program files| Common File \PCCamera);
And proceed with the installation that should after recognize your webcam as Trust webcam. Now it should work.

Good morning Mrs/Ms Biase,
My Windows is XP 32bits + SP2. My computer is such that - 32bits.
I tried to download any of drivers on your driver's page of the Trust site, but I'm afraid it is impossible. The drivers for WB-3400T are "non-valid Windows32 application" and WindowsXP make black screen such as DOS-prompt. And nothing. There are have not any drivers.
Do you have any workind driver on your driver-datbase?
Now my WB-3400T work at hazard. Sometimes WB-3400T work with speed of 5 cadres per second, and sometimes it's work at the maximum speed of 30 cadres per second. It is observe of all computer configurations -> at CPU 500MHz to CPU 2,8GHz Core2Duo. This is clean software problem of Trust drivers.
Please you, give me working driver for this web-cab. WB-3400T. Thanks one more time.Last edited by PET3; 14th June 2008 at 18:12.

Dear customer,
Close application and connect Webcam to other USB port and test it if is works fine, otherwise
Please try the installation in Save Mode so that you will get an error message that we will examine.
Once you install the webcam in Save Mode , no antivirus will create conflict with the webcam and if there are problem you will get an error message.
Generally the issue are coming from 3 reasons:
1- If you do not install the webcam as administrator you will not be able to install the webcam, therefore you cannot install the webcam as accounter or Remote PC , you will need the privilege to install it.
2- Conflict with other Video Card Driver , therefore the best will be to update the driver of the Video Graphic Card in order to work both the devices.
3- Error 1628 or error 1607: Failed to complete script based install.
InstallShield corrupted or not correctly update , in this case when you run the installation in the save mode you will get this error message: The error message occurs at run time usually when you are trying to uninstall, repair, or update an installation. This error message is caused by the Windows Installer Service and is often caused by the installation itself.
4- Fix This error message is often caused when the uninstallation log file becomes corrupt. This can happen if the installation is corrupt or an issue on the computer has caused this. To fix this, end the process that is running IDriver.exe via the Task Manager. Follow these steps to do this: Refer to the article Detect and End Previously Running Installation Processes to end the IDriver.exe process.
Run the installation again to see if the error still occurs.
This error can also occur if the Windows Installer Service is not properly configured on your computer. It can also happen if the installation is created with a newer version of the Windows Installer Service, and your computer has an older version. To fix this issue, install the latest Windows Installer Service on your computer using these steps:
Refer to the article to How Do I Install the Windows Installer Engine on My Computer? to download and install the latest Windows Installer Service.
Reboot your computer.
Run the installation again to see if the error continues to occur.
This error message may also occur if a file in the Temp directory is conflicting with the files being used by the installation while it is being run. To fix this, delete the entire contents of the Temp directory using these steps:
Refer to the article Clean the Temp Directory to clean the Temp directory. Run the installation again to see if the issue is resolved.
Additional Information
Another reason your installation may not run is changes to your computer caused by recent updates. For example, updates to your operating system may cause installations created prior to the update to fail. You may want to uninstall any recent updates, install your application, and reinstall the update. WARNING: You should check with the software vendor who created the update to ensure no adverse affects will result from uninstalling the update
