    "I found the following on an eBay listing today when doing a search - "PS: All of our Dell LCD screen are designed for Dell in order to get brightness control. Other vendors sell the screen does not design for Dell or third party screen which can not adjust the brightness." I thought the brightness was adjusted by the inverter/backlight, not any signal sent directly to the display, but is the preceding message true - am I out of luck because I bought a Samsung?"
