    ... .. - , 1.7 , ..
    1.6 - , 1.6 , 1.7 . "" . .

"i just installed bios 18 for the nf7s 2.0 and my xp 2700 now reads as 48 idle and 53-54c in full load. aaghhhh. does anybody got the same problems? .....well at least i know why ut was crashing post overcloking.... "

"what bios did you have before? 1.7 and 1.8 shows a more acurate temp and you don't need a new cooling, but I am almost sure that you could get lower temp with the same noise or about same temp with lower noise."

"thanks for info, i only had the 1.6 bios before. thats how my pc came with. Should i have updated to 1.7 before going for the latest?
is a temperature of 52-55 at full load for real then?"

"NO, going straight to 1.8 is fine. These are the more accurate temps...they were way too low before."
    -----------------
"I noticed that with the 1.8 BIOS, the CPU temp reported by MBM 5.3.3.0 is the same (+/- 0.5C ish) as my Thermaltake diode which I have attached to the underneath of my CPU.

That's a substantial improvement over the 1.7 BIOS"

    - 33~36 full load 54~55 () " " ( ) , -, . , ,

"They said it adjusts the cpu temp readings. But it looks LESS correct to me now. My Barton should be idling at 35*c - im using decent cooling. Everyone else with this cooler is getting simular results - yesterday i was idling at 50*c. That seem normal to you? No? Shut it then. grr some people..

Anyway ive also seen that there is a weird issue about speratic temp readings when rebooting. Something is going a bit wierd with this new BIOS - hope they sort it in 1.9"

I have a problem, too. I bought an abit NF7 Motherboard and a new Athlon 2200+. As I had pushed it on, the flowers were going 3 seconds and then a siren - like Ambulance sirenes - came.
Help! I don't knew about that things and only want to use my new pc. [I can't enter the bios...]
Has anybody got the same problem?

Yesterday I bought a new PC with an abit nf-7S motherboard and an athlon xp 2200.
Well, when I boot up, a strange sound sounds at once. Even before loading bios. Then the green led and the cpu switch off.
