RBN Encryptor is a dangerous trojan which may infect your computer unnoticeably through other malware. Just after it reaches your PC, Trojan, sometimes also called Trojan.Bootlock, will infect master boot record (MBR) and will do the following: Patch the magic word 0*AA55 in the MBR to 0*AFBE; Move the original, first sector master boot record (MBR) to the fifth sector (offset 0*800); Overwrite the first three sectors with a custom MBR embedded in the threat.
As a result, with an infected MBR computer starts reporting:
Your PC is blocked.
All the hard drives were encrypted.
Browse www.safe-***** to get an access to your system and files.
Any attempt to restore the drives using other way will lead to inevitable data loss!!!
