"Our Sun will not actually explode. When stars (like our Sun) die they go through an evolutionary process. Our Sun is about 5 billion years old and will survive for about another 5 billion years before moving through this process. The process takes our Sun from a main-sequence star (like it is now) to a red giant, then to a planetary nebula, to a white dwarf and finally to a black dwarf. While doing these transformations, the Sun will burn hydrogen, helium, and then carbon. As the Sun moves from the planetary nebula stage to the white dwarf stage, the outer layers of the Sun are unstable and will explode off in a series of flashes, leaving a very small core behind. These "mini" explosions take the Sun from 1000 times its original size to nearly 100 times less than its original size.

Navremeto imahme astronomiq v u-6teto. Ta tam se kaza, 4e vsqka zvezda:
1e podlojena na gravitacionno svivane
2 tova gravitacionno svivane sre6ta protivodejstvie ot qdrenite reakcii v qdroto na zvezdata (s drugi dumi goreneto)
Gorivniqt cikyl na zvezdite po4va ot naj-leki elementi (kato H) i se dostiga do dosta tejki (Fe). Sled kato gorivoto svyr6i zapo4va edno ma4kane, edno svivane, koeto stiga6e dotam 4e lyji4ka ve6testvo teji mln tonove.
