I bought these for work. I already have the Sony Fontopias (MDREX71SL - around £30), but wanted to get something cheaper that wouldnt be a disaster if nicked.
Quick comparison: [sound quality] a bit more bass in the koss, tho overall the koss are a bit more woolly / less clear stereo. Detail levels are similar, to my ears. [sound 'leakage'] the bane of public transport... both plugs keep the noise in your ears, instead of in other people's. the koss 'leak' a little bit more. but at arms length at a reasonable volume, you can hardly hear either of them [comfort] this is where the sonys score a hit, just cos they are so much more compact and use this soft silicone stuff instead of big foam things.
For the £ cant really go wrong. Tho if you have £30, go for the Sony's.
These headphones employ the same theory as Sony's top-of-the-line in-ear stereophones; by sealing the sound into the ear, greater bass is delivered. Unfortunately the foam pieces which are supposed to make the 'phones stay in your ear don't perform half as well as the rubber ones Sony provide.

If you're serious about the quality of audio you're listening to, spend 30 pounds on the Sony ones, from a shop in your town/city. These 'phones are ok, but try the Sony ones and you'll never go back
    , Sony-. Btw Sony-?
