    recover Canyon:
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
USB Flash Drive being detected as Security Device, data inaccessible. What should I do?

In certain conditions which are difficult to reproduce, USB Flash drive may suddenly stop working properly and begin to present itself to Windows XP as Security device, prompting for drivers which are not normally required. It is possible to restore drives functionality, but unfortunately any existing information on it will be lost.
    Here is the recovery procedure:

    * Download Canyon EZ Recovery utility (http://www.canyon-tech.com/files/Can...ANYON_2570.zip) and USB Flash Tools (http://www.canyon-tech.com/files/Can...UtilV10030.exe)
    * Install both packages, reboot and run EZ Recovery tool
    * Plug USB flash device into USB port and press Recover button
    * Wait until process completes (it is possible that error message will be displayed at the end, ignore it and continue)
    * Unplug the device and plug it back again as prompted
    * Start USB Flash Tools, leave password field empty and press OK
    * Press Format button and wait until process completes
    * Exit from service utility and use your USB Flash drive normally
