.... 16 Sapphire X800 GTO² | Connect3D X800 GTO, Connect3D X800 GTO- . PCI-X ? ? ?
: :
Got it a day early, from CA to KY in 2days and 4 hours thanks to Newegg. This card WILL unlock if you get the right version, which is ALL I have seen. I would suggest a better cooler if unlocking and overclocking. The stock one is pretty weak, good for stock though. Scored 4500 on 3DMark05 stock before unlocking on a 3200 Venice stock and DFI NF4-D, 1gig OCZ Gold. 6300 after the mod and slight overclock till I get my ATI Silencer. I expect 6500+ after overclocking CPU and optimizing timings. Very nice for the $. Best buy out there.Connect 3d produced these cards to utilize 3 or 2 cores i forget. One is the r423 and the other r480<--You Want this one. If you recieve the r480 then you can unlock the extra pipes. The sapphire x800gto2 was guranteed but now the price doubled so theres no point. Also other cards that utilize the r480 core have the extra pipelines laser cut down so you can't unlock themI dont think people should hesitate when looking at this card. at first i though it wasn't going to handle the games i have in store for it. however, it plays bf2 smoothly(1280x1024 res). raven shield... 100+ fps. compared to those other "GTO" this is the only card that requires being attached to a power supply, just like my 6800gt agp. You cant go wrong people. believe me! oh.. did i mention its not oced yet.. i'm running this card on a 3500+ 64 1gb ram 400mhz with a 600w ps.Last edited by sony_87; 23rd October 2005 at 20:15.
