Windows XP x64
Windows XP x64 . , windows . read me :
From Releasenotes for Win xp64 from MS:
to force a driver to install:
For this release candidate version of the product only, turn off the operating systems
check for the suffix by creating the following registry value:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentV ersion\Setup: REG_DWORD: DisableDecoratedModelsRequirement
The registry must be set to a non-zero value. For example, if set this value to 1 (restart),
you will be able to install drivers with .inf files on x64-based operating systems.
